Jooniya Partner App Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering and using the Jooniya Partner App, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use this app.

Jooniya Partner App reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age.
  • You must hold a valid driving licence appropriate for your vehicle.
  • You must own or have legal authorization to operate the vehicle used for deliveries.
  • You must provide accurate identification and documentation during onboarding.
  • You must have a valid mobile number and bank / UPI account for earnings settlement.

3. Partner Relationship

You are an independent delivery partner and not an employee, agent, or franchisee of Jooniya Partner. You retain full control over your working hours and availability.

Jooniya Partner App is a technology platform that connects delivery partners with restaurants and customers. Jooniya Partner does not control the manner in which you perform delivery services.

4. Delivery Obligations

  • Accept and complete assigned deliveries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Pick up orders from the correct restaurant and deliver to the correct address.
  • Handle food packages with care to avoid spillage or damage.
  • Maintain polite and respectful conduct with customers and restaurant staff.
  • Do not open, tamper with, or consume any part of the customer’s order.
  • Immediately report any delivery issues (wrong address, inaccessible location, etc.) via the app.

5. Location & GPS Requirements

To receive and complete delivery orders, you must keep location services enabled on your device while you are active on the app.

  • Precise GPS Location is required during active deliveries for order assignment and routing.
  • Live Location is shared with the customer app in real time during an active order so customers can track their delivery.
  • This sharing stops automatically once the order is marked delivered.
  • Background Location may be accessed when you are on an active delivery.
  • This requires your explicit device permission and can be disabled in your device settings.
  • Disabling background location may affect delivery tracking.

Providing false location data or GPS spoofing is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension.

6. Cash on Delivery (COD)

For orders with COD payment, you are responsible for collecting the exact order amount from the customer at the point of delivery.

  • Always verify the order amount in the app before collecting cash.
  • Do not collect any amount beyond the displayed order total.
  • COD amounts collected must be remitted to Jooniya Partner as per the agreed settlement schedule.
  • Failure to remit COD amount may result in deduction from future earnings or account suspension.
  • All COD collections are recorded in the app and reflected in your earnings dashboard.

7. Payments & Earnings

Earnings are calculated per delivery based on the applicable rate at the time of order assignment. Rates may vary based on distance, time of day, and demand.

  • Earnings are settled to your registered bank account or UPI ID via Razorpay.
  • Settlement cycles and timelines will be communicated within the app.
  • Jooniya Partner App may deduct amounts for COD discrepancies, penalties, or policy violations.
  • You are responsible for any applicable taxes on your earnings.

Jooniya Partner App does not store your full bank account numbers, UPI PINs, or sensitive banking credentials. All financial transactions are processed securely through Razorpay.

8. Refunds & Order Returns

Customer refunds are managed by Jooniya Partner and the respective restaurant. As a delivery partner, you are not directly responsible for customer refunds unless the issue is caused by a delivery error on your part.

  • If an order cannot be delivered, mark it as undelivered in the app and follow in-app instructions.
  • If COD was collected for an undelivered or returned order, the full amount must be remitted immediately.
  • Earnings for cancelled or returned orders may be partially or fully adjusted.

9. Prohibited Conduct

  • GPS spoofing or falsifying location data.
  • Accepting orders and not completing them without valid reason.
  • Tampering with, opening, or consuming any customer order.
  • Collecting amounts beyond the displayed order total.
  • Using the app for any fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized purpose.
  • Harassing or threatening customers, restaurant staff, or employees.
  • Creating multiple partner accounts.

Violation of any prohibited conduct may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination without prior notice.

10. Account Suspension & Termination

Jooniya Partner Delivery And Restaurant Partner App reserves the right to suspend or terminate your partner account at its sole discretion for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, consistent poor performance, or inactivity.

You may deactivate your account at any time by contacting us. Pending settlements will be processed after account deactivation, subject to any outstanding deductions.

11. Liability

Jooniya Partner App is not liable for any accidents, injuries, traffic violations, or damages that occur during your delivery activities. You are responsible for your own safety and compliance with traffic laws.

You are responsible for maintaining adequate insurance coverage for yourself and your vehicle.

12. Intellectual Property

Jooniya Partner App, logo, and all associated content are the intellectual property of Jooniya Partner. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
